PRISM is based in Aberdeen and owned by Dave Macdermid, who has been involved in marketing and public relations for over twenty-five years.
An experienced journalist, Dave has worked on a freelance basis for a number of organisations, including Northsound Radio, BBC Scotland, The Press & Journal and The Evening Express over the past three decades and has held senior positions at a number of high profile organisations including Grampian Transport (now First Aberdeen) and Aberdeen Football Club.
Dave spent almost ten years at The BIG Partnership between 2004 and 2013 where he worked with a number of diverse clients including Aberdeen Football Club, bmi Regional, Cornerstone, Lanes Group, Shell, Eastern Airways, CHC Helicopter, Nestrans, GM Events & Tennis Scotland before reverting to working for himself and reforming PRISM.
Offering a personal touch and clear channels of communication, PRISM is well placed and experienced to offer local and national companies ongoing and bespoke public relations and marketing services.
Dave is a member of the Scottish Regional Board of the CIM, a non-executive board member of Aberdeen Sports Village, Tennis Scotland and Garthdee Alpine Sports and is heavily involved with the Friends of Duthie Park.
